The Oxford Bibliographical Society was founded in 1922 to encourage bibliographical research and we are proud to say that, one hundred years on, we continue to do this. We offer a diverse programme of events (including lectures and visits); publish monographs (upcoming publications include a volume of essays to celebrate our centenary and a walking tour of Oxford); and provide grants to support the work of both early-career and established scholars. To carry out this work, we rely exclusively on the generous support of our members: academics, students, independent scholars, librarians, booksellers, conservators, and anyone who has an interest in bibliography or simply a love of books.

Members will also receive a free copy of any of the Society’s new publications that appear during their membership.

If you would like to become part of the OBS community, please email treasurer@oxbibsoc.org.uk, or write to The Treasurer, Oxford Bibliographical Society, Bodleian Library, Oxford, OX1 3BG. Alternatively, individuals can join via PayPal by clicking here.
